Forced (not really) in to early retirement from corporate IT and exploring getting back in to animation. Beyond just watching cartoons all the time, at least.
I didn't know about this until, well, today. A Disney animator went indie, and made this. It's excellent and dark and funny and I want to see more.

The first reference to Mambo No. 5 in this episode made me almost spit my beer. Then they kept at it and kept at it then... this. And I died. Then the credits rolled and it killed me again. #CITY delivers again!

You have to be very confident to believe that quiet resignation over mortality contrasted with the inevitability of life are enough to carry an episode with basically no dialogue. And you have to be *very* good for that confidence to be founded.
