Seems like a substantial amount of people at my faculty, still take Blockchains and Cryptocurrencies seriously. Slovenia seemed to be quite keen on this trend anyway.

The European Union is more a family than friendship. You can end friendship, but family is forever. Bit like our continent. We can be on good or bad terms, but we are stuck with each other.

20 years ago we were suing teenagers for millions of dollars because they were torrenting a single Metallica album and now billionaires are demanding the free right to every work in history, so that they can re-sell it.

The law only ever serves capital.

Thinking a lot about how we foster a European identity in the coming years and equalize the different countries so we don’t have several tiers.

Point 33: We have to move institutions eastward. Not everything can be in Belgium, Germany and France.

Germany really has an issue with English. Why not have at least certain road signs in english too and more announcements in regional trains.

English is the de-facto lingua franca and it would make us more open and welcoming to others

I really have issues to describe or even completely grasp the idea of the "Kulturkampf". Is it just people feeling threatened by changes in society they neither want nor understand.

What is it about enforcing a crucifix in public buildings or declaring the christmas tree as pat of our identity.

In „The Utopia of rules“ Graeber notes that the post office with its militaristic discipline and efficiency was emblematic for the state in the late 1800s. And that for many it was synonymous with the state (as they rarely saw other officials)

Generell Nerds.

It’s wild how overtly Musk referenced the aggressiveness of the Cybertruck. Presenting it as a weapon rather than a mode of transportation or a utility.
