Another example fro this MagLev conundrum: Dan Mc Quillan notes that Rishi Sunak wants to use AI to fix the NHS instead of fixing the roofs of hospitals after years of austerity.
Seems to be to me another example of an unwillingness to do the obvious thing and instead trsut in technological magic

Even Berlin wanting to "try" a MagLev train. Why? We know exactly whats needed. Just use trains, they are fast, tested and efficient. Is this culture war against whats perceived for the poor or what is favoured by greens?

This could be a European Unemployment insurance. Something which only makes sens, considering free movement of workers. Or even the digital euro by the ECB.
