got the "Stream on Spotify" integration working. out of the 1055 albums in my library, MusicBrainz had a Spotify link for at least one release in a release group for 423 of them. not bad

DuckDB is very cool tech. I ingested my last.fm music listening history into a small table, “attached” a MusicBrainz Postgres database and can do JOINs between them!!!

I added this to my reading list after reading the UML chapter in Masterminds of Programming. good stuff. they managed to get all three creators for the interview, lots of insightful questions and answers

besides the timer, what else do you find more useful about it? the clock app in macOS got a recent update that lets you keep multiple running timers and the closest to completion is shown in the menu bar. I've been using this for pomodoros though: github.com/michaelvilla...

I missed having a proper organized digital music library ever since switching to Spotify for music listening, so I created a lil web app that stores only album covers + artist country metadata for filtering. haven't spent much more than a minute picking something to listen to after coming up with it
