Maybe one reason is any three-year-old saying that for any reason would be told “that’s not nice.” And he does it as a grown-ass man with the power of the president and his skill set is less than the average three-year-old kid. And even gets away with it. He should have soap poisoning by now.

When I heard JDV’s horrid defense of Nazis today, I thought of — and what I couldn’t get out of my head or heart my entire drive — was the case of George Stinney, age 14 & murdered by state electric chair for crimes he never committed. JDV can burn in hell.

I can’t remember what they decided. I do know there was a huge debate because how much it cost to address the toxicity it caused and build something safer. So many people argued that they had been shooting guns there for years and there was nothing wrong with them. 🫢 I was happy to move.

And that’s on top of the lead poisoning they get from using shooting ranges that have no protection from lead levels. A high school’s gun range in the town I lived in showed dangerously high lead levels.

Please you stop. Subjugating the stereotype is a necessity for combating it. I worked years as an advocate for the rights of children & adults w/ cognitive disabilities & as a volunteer my whole life. I’m mom, sister, aunt & godmother to people w/ cognitive & neurological disabilities. Just stop.

You’re seeing something not there. I responded to the focus on “bright.” I exemplified young children and people with Down syndrome because many have an incorrect stereotype of them not being bright. But they are indeed. As evident in many ways. Far brighter than the folks she talked about.

And so incredibly, ridiculously rigid. I mean, how can anyone legitimately think that just because something about a story is outside their experience that it is automatically wrong? I know people with Down syndrome and kids under 7 who wouldn’t be so foolish and narrow minded.
