When we took action on short-term rentals it was to prioritize housing for people in BC. Through these actions we’re already seeing results.

✅ More entire homes becoming available for rent for people living and working in BC
✅ Asking price for rent declined over the last year

Solar is about 40% of CAISO's (California) electricity at 9 in the morning of December 1, 2024. Gas is about 23%.

Solar is generating more electricity than gas in both Texas & California this December morning.

Few, if anyone, thought that would happen 5 years ago.
