Just like the repression after 9/11, these were plans waiting for a political opportunity (a “crisis”) to push them through.

Hence, almost none of these plans would have prevented the killing of Charlie Kirk… but then again, that is also just the pretext, not the goal.

Germany's largest UBI study funded by 200K private donors found that

- Everyone kept working, no change in hours
- More enrolled in university
- More job changes (for better jobs)
- More satisfied with work
