Around Chromebook #200 that I have to manually restore is apparently where I begin to beg them to have problems just to break up the monotony.

My #hottake on the endless and exhausting “#linux vs #mac vs #windows” debate is that I just like playing with computers and don’t really care what they run. I enjoy them all. I use #ios but I dig #android, too. I even like #ChromeOS! I’m such a blasphemer, I know. 😆

It’s Monday #atwork in the #itdepartment, meaning the morning is mostly fielding #Helpdesk calls from users who can’t remember how to login after a weekend away. Other than that, the agenda is to just continue picking away at this mountain of student #Chromebook devices needing to be restored…

#pippinux update: got the correct USB #Nintendo64 controller. I can navigate #Retroarch menus fine but #mupen64, #emulationstation, *and* #project64 on #linux are having trouble detecting A button and R trigger input. On #windows, P64 sees all inputs and plays great, but #shipofharkanian sees none.

Another Pippinux update: Got a USB switch to easily swap keyboard and mouse between Pippinux and Riko, our gaming PC. Once everything is all configured on Pippinux, we won’t need keyboard and mouse often but this will be nice when we do.
