Such inconsistencies are a real pain for mathematicians who want to answer such simple counting problems. And as the field of mathematics advances to including ever more mind-bending objects, the task of counting them gets more and more complicated.

Congrats to Satyajit Ghosh et al. This research shows that current cluster pinhole collimators are suitable for sub-mm resolution prompt PET up to at least 1.4 MeV. This may open up new avenues to developing new tracer applications and therapies.
