I'm a bisexual AFAB, I've spent hours in gay clubs surrounded by trans people. It is not them who were trying to force themselves on me, but CIS hetero men. Even when I was a child. I'll be 28 this year, not single year since I was 8 where haven't had men harassing me/attempt to SA me. 20yrs.
I have been sexually assaulted by men in broad daylight on public transport in front of people. I will never let anyone tell me to hate trans women because of men’s crimes. Look closely at the actions of men pushing transphobia. They do nothing for us.

The idea that biology defines womanhood (or maleness) is quite literally the genus point, modus operandi, and logic of patriarchy. Whilst complexity reduction can be (strategically) useful within advocacy, pretending that it is an underlying reality is ultimately violent and destructive.

It's starting. Any woman who doesn't fit the ideal male definition of feminity is going to be punished for committing the sin of not being feminine enough. Something our past feminists fought so hard against.
The harassment of gender nonconforming women is a feature, not a bug, of anti-gender ideology. The plan was always to force us to conform to heteronormative patriarchy

This will only increase thanks to the Supreme Courts Ruling, police will force themselves on "inspecting" women who do not fit the ideal feminine, justifying it by saying they have to keep women safe, by harming women who do not look the ideal male standard of femininity. Expect more violations.

I don't really want to post about/have a feed full of political stuff, but our views are shaped by the opinions we see from people we respect or feel a familiarity with. So I want to say that the supreme court ruling on the definition of a woman is just hugely upsetting and disappointing to me.

Dead bodies are not expected to give up their viable organs despite not needing them all while saving lives, but women must donate their whole body to produce a life regardless of the consequences. Dead people have more rights than women.

I don't see the TERFS who fought for the ruling in Scotland concerned about this, though. It is only men in power, and the lack of consequences for men who harm women, who are the real danger to women. #women'srights #feminism
