I can't recall the last movie I saw in a theatre, but I know it was likely 2019. But my first movie back was Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein. Only a true master could get me to a theatre, and I was not disappointed.

So I knew that Candyman was based on a Clive Barker story, but TIL that the part about connected apartments and people coming through the medicine cabinet was from a series of IRL break-ins and a murder.

We have found the apartment we want, so fingers crossed for confirmation that we've got it. I'm more than ready to be done the cycle of having to put ourselves out there, ask questions, see the place, and having people comb through our lives to see if we're "good enough".
