A friend of the family used to be the Landlord there in the late 70’s. I remember there used to be a tug of war v The Maybush across the river, the winners were the first to pull their opponents into the water!

Not to be pedantic but it was 20 men and 16 women….all 4 coxes are men 😜

My next year was 1989 with UL…started 415th finished 14th! I reckon that’s got to be close to the most places gained ever 😂

I raced in ‘86 but moved school for ‘87 to a school that focused on 4’s so didn’t get to race that year
