As soon as I see this album I always hear "I'M GONNA WHITTLE YOU INTO KINDLIN'" in my head

I have the opposite problem of the Lars "tone." I apparently dampened the snare too much when we were tracking. It sounds great on its own, but sounds flat in the mix.

The worst part is that I'll have no one to blame but myself. I engineered everything this time.

I usually listen to full albums, so I rarely make playlists. I've also never once posted a story to social media, but if I did I'm sure it would include songs.

Reply bot missed the mark on this one

Oh hell yeah. Which stage is that?

That sounds great. It'll be my first time attending MDF, so I know nothing about the layout. I'm also flying in from OKC and won't have a car to park, so I probably would have never considered tailgating in the parking garage

I definitely get it. Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley is the sound of the dog days of summer for me. Once the temp gets over 100°, that album goes on. The first time it gets below freezing, it's Immortal time (and/or Ihsahn - Arktis)

Fuck yeah, I am as well. First beer is on me

Are you going for the whole fest, or just select days?

That's too bad. It's always nice to have tacos that close. This truck is only half a mile from my house, so I'm sure I'll get it again out of convenience even though they were just OK

Nowhere to be found. And not enough cilantro

I typically don't use drop tunings in general (although Fathomless II is all in drop D). I have to think about my fingerings too much, and it slows down my writing process. It doesn't bother me when other artists use drop tuning, I just personally don't like playing in them

Nothing cringe about standard as far as I'm concerned

I do already have several software versions of the whole range of Pultec EQs from both UAD and Waves, so I'm not looking for more plugin recommendations
