I think there's a difference between "'AI' being shoved into everything even when it degrades the end product" and "'AI' being part of a varied tool set where it offers material benefit to workflow." We're in the beginning stage of the backlash to the hype era of "AI," which I am very happy about.
Gen ai "is here to stay" is kind of doomery? I feel like progress HAS been made in that it isn't as prevalent as it could be. Pushback has worked in cases.

This was essentially how I got through the more tedious classes in grad school.
Admission time: there are times I write an article almost entirely based on "shit, I came up with a really good headline to go with an article, so I guess I need to write the article."

And now other senators are standing to ask questions (that don't require him to yield the floor) to give him a break. I just called @fetterman.senate.gov to ask him to join them. Call your senators and ask them to join Cory Booker!

Had SO MUCH FUN teaching 4th graders about my work as an editor at Career Day today. Watching their eyes bug out when I introduced this example was worth the raspy voice by the end of 90 minutes.
