House Republicans took an unconscionable vote to strip healthcare and food assistance from millions of Americans to give the ultrawealthy a tax cut.

I voted no.

The White House is doubling down on letting 42 million Americans go hungry, appealing a court decision that demands it must pay 100% of the SNAP benefits it blocked.

It's unconscionable and the American people won’t forget.

Americans are facing a healthcare crisis NOW and this Senate deal does nothing to fix that.

It's a bad deal and I cannot support it.

Americans deserve better.

UPDATE: Donald Trump is so hellbent on denying people SNAP that he went all the way to the Supreme Court to block benefits.

Now Trump is trying to bully states into TAKING BACK payments they already made to families.

It’s chaos for the sake of cruelty.

It’s been a wild week. Here’s what you need to know:

The current CR would shut the government down again next week.

Democrats offered a solution to reopen the government and keep healthcare affordable for 24 million Americans through the next year.

I’m at the Delco emergency food drive.

The White House may not get it, but Delco does!

People started lining up to drop off food at 7 a.m.

The drive is open at 1797 Sproul Road from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. today.

Neighbors helping neighbors.

SNAP payments are going out late to millions of Americans, because this White House made the unfathomable choice to force Americans to go hungry.

BREAKING: Pennsylvania is now driving out November SNAP benefits.

After we won in court yesterday, we moved quickly to start getting benefits loaded on EBT cards and out the door — and we're working to get every Pennsylvanian currently waiting for federal food assistance benefits what they're owed.

If the President cared about Americans going hungry, he would follow the court’s order instead of trying to appeal it.
The Trump administration moved on Friday to deny swift and full food stamp payments to millions of low-income Americans, as it asked a federal appeals court to halt a judge’s recent order that would preserve those benefits during the shutdown.
Trump Administration Seeks Immediate Halt to Court Order to Pay Food Stamps
The appeal comes one day after a judge sharply attacked the White House for politicizing the anti-hunger program

Trump's tariffs are making everything too unaffordable.

If the Supreme Court doesn't strike them down, the House should be come back to work and vote against these tariff bills.

Never before has a President tried to BLOCK funding for SNAP - until now.

Trump administration is REFUSING to follow a court directive to use contingency fund to provide SNAP benefits.

Cruelty is the point.
