Back in 2017, I realized the Republican claim of "less spending, fewer taxes, smaller government" was a lie.

They spend the same amount of tax dollars as Democrats: they only choose differently who to collect it from & who gets to be the recipient.

And they LOVE wasting money on war & bailouts. 🧵

My Dad died of colon cancer in the 90s. He had Cigna health insurance and died with nearly $1M in medical debt. How is this possible? I'll tell you.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.
