It sucks, but it's more than just those eight. 18 Democratic Senators have voted yea for more than a third of this sessions fascist bills. 26 Dems voted yea for S 2296, a Defense bill that is vehemently anti-trans and racist. Only 2 haven't voted yea for a single fascist bill or nominee since Rubio.

Well that was quick. Vote is ongoing, but it's 60-30. No symbolic shifts. All that remains is a cloture vote for the amended version of HR 5371 and the confirmation vote. Is as good as passed.

And it passes cloture 60-40. A vote to confirm the amendment is next and will only need a simple majority. Kind of curious if any Dems who voted for cloture won't vote to confirm for symbolic reasons.

Not sure why the Senate isn't moving to the next vote. Also, if anyone has a link to the Collins Amendment, please feel free to post it.

Final vote is 76-24. Next is the motion to cloture the Collins amendment. I can't find a copy of this amendment, but I am assuming it contains the minibus of appropriations bills.

Table to motion fails 47-53. On deck is Rand Paul's (R-KY) amendment, which seems to be entirely based on removing a section from the minibus that funds the Department of Agriculture that bans the unregulated sale of gas station THC.

Final vote is 47-53. Ed Merkley (D-OR) is up. He is calling for a motion to table a different Thune amendment and replace it with his own amendment to amend the rescission of Congressionally approved funds.

Quick correction: the motion is to table an amendment by John Thune, which I think it just language fixes for the outdated HR 5371?

For people wondering about why I post gnarly radical [depressed] so often, it's a lyric from Gucci Gucci by Kraeyshawn, a song that wasn't great to begin with and has only aged like milk since. My neurons can't help but remember those two words whenever I'm at a depressed loss for words.
