The UK complication comes from a) the UK has an aristocracy and b) most of the UK consumes US media. So traditionally, the UK upper class meant literally people with a title, King, Prince, Lord, Sir, Duke etc. Which means the middle class could be the richest guy you know, and highly educated 1/2
