Writing tip: outlining books on PowerPoint has been a game changer for me. I still hate outlining because I’m a pantser at heart, but my brain loves this tidy solution, and I don’t have cue cards cluttering my desk.

Reading the article, the group will charge people $5k to run an "AI" spell check on their manuscript, slap some "AI" art on the cover and then shove the book out of the door. It's a vanity press. Who was gullible enough to fund this?
Why? Who is this meant to be good for? Nobody wants your shit AI books, never mind 8,000 in a year. Just a terrible idea and a horrible road the publishing industry is heading down.

It’s not a coincidence that all the things the authoritarians hate — education, public parks, libraries, disability care, actual freedom of speech — are exactly the things that help all of us, marginalized or otherwise, to thrive. The right need people to be suffering or else nobody needs them.
