Yeah, James Whale’s version is definitely the best, but I also love the Hammer version too.
Apparently there is a remake of the bride of Frankenstein coming out at some point. Hopefully this will be better!

Yeah, I have seen that and I totally dislike that attitude towards those people who haven’t read the book. I mean, I only read it recently but have seen loads of the different versions of Frankenstein (probably more than these judgemental knobheads). I’m glad that people loved it. Good for them!

Other side of the pond too and see more mainstream tv with regional accents. It gives a much more diverse representation of its people than what we see at the moment.

We have seen on English TV a lot more uptake of regional accents, especially in mainstream media like TV presenters in recent years. We have always had those television programmes where things like northern accents are used such as Coronation Street but it would be great to see more of this for the

That the way that TV portrays the American language makes it sound fake. Obviously, I explained to him that there are vastly different accents, much like the UK. I says to him, it’s much like how the UK is perceived as all speaking the King’s English, when in fact we don’t and it is just TV land
