From out of the depths of the blogosphere came a mighty whimper, a being of total incompetence. With his mighty powers of making it up as he goes along comes Fantasy Book Nerd. A being of less than average qualities who reads books and talks shite!
Whilst Paul Wesley does a good job of playing Kirk in Strange New Worlds, it threw me a bit coz he does resemble Jeffrey Hunter, the original Captain Pike

I know lots of others have loved this film, it unfortunately I thought it was dull as ditchwater. Yes it was lavishly produced, and sumptuous in all the right places but thank god it’s over!

I have got to admit I was pretty dismissive of that Strange New Worlds. However, I have watched the first series and I have got to say that I quite enjoyed it!

Off to watch The Fog tomorrow at the pictures. I was 19 years old when I first saw it on video and I loved it. It’s one of those weird ones that was stuck in the middle of two greats it I really enjoyed it.

Playing with the iPhone tonight taking pictures of the night sky. Don’t know what I did but increased the exposure to get this kind of effect. It’s midnight and pitch black but it looks like a weird daytime photo

Morning Womble and happy Sunday to everyone. I am still reading the mammoth omnibus of Wonder Woman 1968. I am now definitely into the 1970’s and am thoroughly enjoying this iteration of her adventures. Book wise, I have pulled one from the bottom of the TBR mountain

Morning Womble! That one is definitely on my TBR. I saw her in Sheffield reading an extract from the book a few months ago. Printwise, I am between books as I have just finished The Black Lord by Colin Hinckley. Comics wise, I am reading some 1960’s Wonder Woman and in the ears I am listening to
