And so often, when someone says "I saw no marketing for this movie", it's a movie I have seen a ton of advertising for.
I got so many pre-roll ads for "Elio" on YouTube and saw the poster on multiple buses and bus stops. And yet its box-office failure was pinned on "Disney didn't market it."

It's pretty much an unwritten rule that it's always Disney's fault whenever something goes wrong and never animation fans. If you dare question them for their actions or behavior instead putting all the blame on Disney, you're considered a "corporate shill".

Not that ppl need to like the Nostalgia Critic now, nor when he revived his character and brought Malcolm/Rachel (at the time) on board, but a prominent criticism was the sketches…why? He’d done those long before his revival.

I don't think there's ever been a show that made animation fans go crazy with hatred. Sure, Velma is not good, but the reactions can get a bit scary with how destructive people are towards something they don't like. Anyways, I wish the team the best to find their next project soon to keep working.
