Gaming in 2025 for me was lame. A lot of gacha slop and live service crap that I’ve dropped.

In 2026, I’ll focus on my backlog, some new releases, NSO, and 3DS as my portable console (Switch 2 isn’t portable). I also have to play more indie games, as that’s one area where I REALLY lack.

Am I a party pooper for feeling like LEGO is reaching Funko Pop levels of ick? Am I just a hater?

A LEGO wreathe, love? I love plastic waste as much as the next consumer, but what are we doing here? The microplastics aren’t THAT good.

I’m really glad I fell in love with Breath of the Wild this year. The music has been so lovely while working or trying to relax.

The Nintendo Music app is good on shuffle because I’ll be listening to some epic Fire Emblem music and then boom, I get gut punched by the “bah bah” of the New Super Mario Bros OST.

I’ve never felt attractive, but I was once told by a stranger that I had Sailor Moon legs, and that’s all I’ll ever need to hear about my appearance.

Sometimes I feel self conscious about being bald (mostly because people are obsessed with my baldness, and I’m okay with it, but people are rude). But the thought of sitting at a barbershop and having to pretend I know sports or misogyny is worse than being bald.

The verdict is in (it has been for a minute): I should not eat Taki’s anymore. I’m almost 40 and ate some earlier after forgetting to take my heartburn medication.

I got dizzy and the acid reflux was so bad I thought I was going to the ER. I had to lay down for like 2 hours.
