The Lazy Quilter
@fabriholic.bsky.social
Dog mom, quilter, pro-democracy. I've been known to camouflage errors with pigma pens. Embrace the wabi sabi! I'm here for the quilts. Please don't be offended if I don't follow back.
It's beautiful!

Both are beautiful! I'd favor without because I'm lazy and wouldn't want the extra work. 😂

My quilting bff and I often mention the quilt worthiness of recipients. Even quick quilts take dozens of hours and cost quite a bit. From curating the fabric to hand sewing the binding, it's a labor of love. It's wonderful to see someone so quilt worthy receiving such beautiful handmade items!!

I'm using the cheater method. The top diamond is split so there's no Y seam sewing.

Thanks! You know you need to clean out your stash when you find Jinny Beyer Millennium fat quarters buried in the pile!

Do it! Perhaps tell the inspector that your other car is a horse and ask how s/he plans to test the emissions! 😂
Your very artsy gambeson would look fantastic with jeans and a turtle neck in the fall.

Why would you need an excuse? Own the vibe! It's sexy! Awesome quilting, btw.

Some of the suggestions that came from the presentation were to repurpose blocks as pieced quilt backs, embelish tote bags with blocks, donate blocks or quilt tops to a thrift shop or a local quilt guild that makes charity quilts, and if all else fails put them in the trash.

Thanks so much for responding! It is said that we die twice. Once when we stop living and again the last time our name is spoken. How beautiful that all of these folks are remembered in this quilt!
