If people have limited income and you literally always release an upgraded version of your game then it's a smart idea to wait. It's pretty obvious. Even games with season passes massively benefit from waiting, you can get the game + season pass for launch price on sale. Look at KCD2.

the thing with bass is unless its stupidly cranked up you cant really hear it in the mix so its hard to tell if youre playing right. on the other hand if you cant hear the stray off key notes it means youre most likely playing right since youre supposed to be the invisible background
