Inspired by @carlbergstrom.com, I'm working on befriending 3 American Crows that frequent my area by feeding them peanuts or almonds and dog kibble each morning. This is one of them. #ThursJay #corvids #birds

We celebrated my nephews' birthdays yesterday. These are the cakes they asked for and I made. #cake #cobra #otters #birthday
A cake made to look like a coiled King Cobra. Bundt cake lightly carved then covered in modeling chocolate. Head and tail made of modeling chocolate. Otter scene cake: layer cake covered in blue fondant. 3 sea otters and 3 otter melons on top. Kelp made of rice paper draped over the otters and attached to the sides of the cake to mimic a kelp forest. Some fondant rocks and modeling chocolate sea stars around the bottom. some painted on kelp and fish on the sides.
