i don't have any easy answers to this, i just think it's really humiliating how much people who make games have this default expectation that they have to totally subjugate themselves to joe gamer and the whims of the market and act so blessed and grateful to be there the whole time

Panel 1: Shepherd and Primal Moony back at her bar, bickering. shep: What do you mean she left? moony: "i dont know! she has been weird for awhile. anyway, can i have another-" shep: "no." P2: Shepherd walks outside and sighs. shep: "ena?" [ena breathes sharply, startled] P3: Shepherd turns to Ena who is sitting behind a low wall. her face is stil dusty blue, and roots growing fron her head, body locked up by a central thick branch. [crack sound, from her neck turning and snapping the branch] ena: :i cannot- dance for you- right now..." shep: "just wanted to know where you went-" ena: "leave me-!" P4: Shepherd leans forward and looks disgusted. the panel reveals that nerve roots have grown even from Ena's chest. it looks painful and gross to Shepherd. Ena is straining to speak, and taking heaving breaths between words. shep: "no i wont- eugh!!" ena: "i don't- know what- this is. this isn't- my sadness." Panel 5: Shepherd bends her neck low to inspect the root breaching Ena's chest, she scrunches her face. Ena is turned away from the viwer making her head entirely in shadow. shep: "well- uh- not sure about it now, but, its probably anxiety? ever had that one before?" ena: no... P6: Shepherd stands back upright, calmer. Ena argues her with an intense expression. shep: huh. well- you'll be fine." ena: "i will never be fine" shep: "not true! [whisper] maybe. you arent in danger and nothing warrents this" ena: "false! absolutely!" shep: "its just a feeling. forgive it for being wrong. it will go away" ena: [whispering, almost to herself, in a daze] "get away..." P7: Shepherd moves to the front of Ena, smiling, while Ena looks up at her. shep: "i have something you can borrow." Panel 8-9: like magic, Shepherd reveals her crook from her sleeve. she holds it in front of her, like a golf stance. shep: "it is in our best interest to keep you stable..." P9-10: she swings it forward low, gently, and like double magic, the crook's shape unveils a sort of wormhole to her flower farm. P11-13: similar to the motion of a large bubble wand, she then sweeps it back, just over the ground, revealing an hourglass dog she caught into the wormhole. Ena breathes a bit in surprise. the dog squeaks a bit, stuck in the non-euclidian crook. shep: "come on..." Shepherd shakes the crook up and down until the dog slides loose. P14-P15: Ena and the dog stare at eachother, cutely. Ena's left side yelow pupil returns, showing calm curiosity returning to her. shep: "at least they're always happy to see you, ena." P16: Shepherd turns and walks away from ena and the dog, leaving her be with confidence. Ena cracks her neck to look at her with a big cute white pupil. shep: "i will return." Panel 17-22: Ena stares back at the dog, with a sympathetic look. a dusting of yellow crosses her lower face. the hourglass dog stares right back, cheering and opening its silly mouth. Ena's arm twitches, and something begins to change. her smooth yellow left arm turns to faceted, irridecent polygons. Ena reaches out her now clawed hand, and scratches the hourglass dog behind its ear. more, lighter yellow begins to show on her face. a timeskip is displayed via a decorated line break, depicting the Great Runas, some flowers, and Shepherd's crook Panel 23: Shepherd returns, standing behind Ena. ena's dusty blue enxiety color has rolled back to her cheek, revealing a new cream color. Meanie Ena has formed permantly for the very first time. she holds the hourglass dog close as it licks her face, and she smiles while playfully making fun of the dog. meanie ena: "you're so fucking ugly [three broken heart emojis]" dog: "yes!" Panel 24: Shepherd leans in on her crook to investigate. her eyes cutely go wide, realizing ena's new change. shep: "whoa." meanie: "what??" shep: "nothing."

ok I redesigned SAI and drew how they can fold the suit up into Green Bastard Mode and now I feel better (even though I'm not sure if the flap folds up like I thought it would)
