A long time ago I said I didn't care what got done about school shootings as long as SOMETHING was done. That even if we made the wrong choice it was a choice and it would help us eliminate what didn't work so that we could actually do what did work.

weird, every time a social experiment is done giving the poorest segments of society financial aid the results are always like reduced drug abuse, reduction in homelessness, increase in employment, and positive health metrics, but every time we give tax breaks to the wealthy it's the exact opposite?

The right turned "Woke" into an insult and that's weird. It's like they took a word that meant something positive and turned it into an insult. Just imagine if they did it with "Smart" usually a compliment, occasionally used ironically but generally positive.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

I have Palestinian blood in my veins. I have family in Palestine. I want to be clear, that EVERYONE who sat out in protest or voted trump in protest WAS WRONG. They did the wrong thing, because they couldn't see past perfection to the steps needed to make progress. YOU have blood on your hands.
