This!! it was never even suggested to me until my third voluntary psychiatric admission at 25; at my lowest points, my meltdowns were met with antipsychotics + no explanations
My only notes to add: it wasn’t that girls with more severe symptoms never presented. It was simply they were misdiagnosed. Like all health related research, autism studies focused on males, so “they only found it in boys” Girls were given Dx of MI because “girls can’t have autism” - circular logic

scared the daylights out of me in top floor of MBK Center. I thought the cause was building collapse until I got a check in call 15 minutes later. I can’t imagine the aftermath in Mandalay beyond that it will be devastating
Myanmar have declared an emergency across 6 regions. The ruling junta have made a rare request for international humanitarian aid. Direct reports and images are not forthcoming, but the limited data available suggests that intensity of the earthquake was strong.
What we're not seeing so far is the damage in Myanmar, especially around Mandalay, where the intensity is estimated to have reached VIII-IX. The closest instrumental stations reported by the USGS are in two locations ~400 km east, so we're flying pretty blind. DYFI gives a better view.
