So, 3 things that occurred to me.
1. HGs are so much faster! I blasted through this kit.
2. I hate stickers - stuck immediately, and were very resistant to nudging.
3. I love Macross - The YF-19 might be my favourite mech design, although Gurren Lagann is very close.

So, finished? I guess?? I could do a second beam ribbon, but I really like having the V hand. There were a few times I had to translate the instructions since they were entirely in Japanese and Iv'e done to no panel lining on her, but I'm super glad to have built this kit, finally.

After delays, a family death, and other drama, I finished this horrible kit.
I even ended up painting more than I normally would, and the only thing left to do is panel line it - I just have no idea what colour to line it in.

Finished up Weak Hero class 2. Enjoyable, but nowhere near as strong as class 1 - you really felt the pacing issues from them riding through the material, a opposed to 1, which was just a big expansion of backstory.
