All of southwestern California is under a flood watch. In San Diego County, we should have mostly light showers until late tonight. That’s when it gets interesting. Rain is expected to become heavy, & thunderstorms are possible. Showers into Sunday, then more rain next week. #sandiegoweather #CAwx

Getting some rain at 8:45 p.m. here in inland North County. Not hard, but it’s a nice sound. Heavy stuff expected late Friday and Saturday, likely more than a couple of inches total. #sandiegoweather #CAwx

The approaching storm looks stronger & later. San Diego County has a chance of showers late tonight, but it looks like the heavy stuff will come late Friday & Saturday. The weather service says the valleys could get 1.5-2 inches Saturday alone, & the mountains could get 3-4. #sandiegoweather #CAwx
