Found some hedgehogs hiding in a stump, surrounded by a bunch more out in the open. I harvested just a few, they are my favorites.

A friend of mine has a brilliant idea; take away all billionaire's money and give them one million each.
Keeping it simple is a proven winner!

I bought a new chair yesterday. First new piece of furniture in a very long time. I love it but it reeks of PFAS! I vacuumed it and it is now covered in a bedspread. We've got to stop using scotch-guard and other PFAS chemicals. I love it but will have to wash it before uncovering it. sigh....

This Prince I chose to harvest. I leave most edible mushrooms where I find them because I don't cook a lot and they do require work. Today I found a Prince that whispered, "take me home." So I did.

This was a few years ago, but tis the season, and this was a wonderful find. I actually left them there, instead of taking them home and enjoying them, because they were just too beautiful. The Prince, Agaricus augustus.

Hospitals, insurers, drug companies & private-equity backed provider networks all make a lot of money from our healthcare system & they all lobby against Medicare for All.

The question isn’t “why don’t we have Medicare for All?” It’s “who exactly would lose money if we did?”

It might not be a one-size-fits all solution, but would cover more people at less cost to taxpayers than subsidies to for-profit insurance companies.
Next year, Americans will see the biggest jump in health insurance costs in 15 years.

Meanwhile, the seven largest health insurance companies made a combined $71B in profits in 2024.

It’s far past time for Medicare for All. Here’s what you need to know.

These platforms are the perfect place to brainstorm. I see a lot of complaints instead. Are there other platforms that are working on solutions?

We need solutions and options, not more complaints. I'd like to hear some ideas on how to derail white supremacy.

Do the research yourself. The 1973 HMO act allowed for-profit companies access to healthcare. And the prices have gone up and up and up. Before that, healthcare was affordable. Now it's not and the subsidies that have shut the gov't down go 100% to for-profit insurers. Is that really what we want?

All Japanese hospitals are required to operate as non-profit entities. All surplus funds are reinvested into operations, infrastructure, or services—not distributed as profit.

Medical fees are strictly regulated by the Japanese government to maintain affordability and prevent profit-driven pricing.

Resistance to single payer healthcare should stop. The alternative? What you now have. Taxpayers subsidizing for-profit insurance companies every single month, whether you use services or not. How's that working for you? Medi-cal & medicare only charge when services are used. Thimk! ty
