I regret to inform other card gamers that Riftbound has The Sauce.

I’ve never seen a system scale so well. Both 1v1 and 4 player FFA feel great. Haven’t played teams or 3p but it’s evident the designers were really in the tank over this.

Only took about five hours but all the wax is finally in block form. Now I just need to figure out what to make. Any suggestions? #art

A ripped cardboard box with an assortment of crayons. The box has eight compartments that were at one point sorted but have since become a jumbled mess. Some crayons are broken or chipped but most are intact.

Four cards, four card types that are hugely influential to the way you enjoy Magic:
Young Pyromancer - {1}{R} Creature - Human Shaman Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, create a 1/1 red Elemental creature token. Fevered Visions - {1}{U}{R} Enchantment At the beginning of each player’s end step, that player draws a card. If that player is your opponent and has four or more cards in hand, ~ does 2 damage to them. Electrolyze - {1}{U}{R} Instant ~ deals 2 damage divided as you choose among one or two targets. Draw a card. Sword of Once and Future - {3} Artifact - Equipment Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and has protection from blue and black. Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, surveil 2. Then you may cast an instant or sorcery spell with mana value 2 or less from your graveyard without paying its mana cost. If that spell would be put into your graveyard, exile it instead. Equip {2}

A blank MTG card with a galaxy foil pattern. The card has had all ink stripped with nail polish remover, leaving the thin plastic foil layer underneath.

Happy 8/8 everyone! Throwback to when I was getting into Magic and I couldn’t fathom a bigger creature than the queen herself.

Went to a friend’s wedding and during the cocktail party between the ceremony and the reception I snuck away with some friends. We stole the groom’s wallet from his dressing room and fed one of his dollars to a goat, snapping this shot on my Nishika N8000. I wish bsky supported gifs.

Experimented with a randomly generated painting. Rolled 3d6 to pick tools, paints, and quadrants, leaving myself one free choice for each. Might try this again some time.
A rudimentary landscape painting. Lush green grass is separated from a large grey mountain by a choppy river. A deep yellow sun is setting on the west horizon with a lighter golden color filling the air. The rough texture and edging of the painting comes from palette knife strokes, leaving thick layers of acrylic on each section.

An alter of the MTG card Wilderness Reclamation where only the original name box is visible. Vines have overgrown five skyscrapers. A large tree sits atop the center tower, a small apple hanging off the right side. The vines stick to windows and the gaps between buildings on the way up and end in bushy formations save for one that spirals up the tree. Clouds hang in the grey sky, some obscured by the buildings and one splitting the name and mana cost.

Been really enjoying a 2e Kingmaker session and my Tengu Thaumaturge in particular.
