Did you know that you can set up a reminder to add alt text? Alt text helps vision impaired posters understand images.
Go to Settings, then Accessibility, and make sure "Require alt text before posting" is toggled on - this will prompt you each time you add an image to your post!

I 100% agree and would add that if you are hosting a holiday event and you do NOT have something festive, creative and delicious for your guests to drink without alcohol in it, you are actually an asshole

I really like the vibe of the pinball folks at Holy Frijoles in Baltimore, they've got a great thing going up there, and I hope I can participate in more tournaments held there next year.

Did way better at today's pinball tournament than y yesterday's, especially considering I was assigned mostly to machines I've either never played, or have barely played. As always, had fun.
I'm sure the ifpa people will tweak the results as they always do.

Vaccines themselves are such a metaphor for how the anti-vax demographic views society. If the rest of us didn’t do our part, most of them would be doing a very different risk assessment before declining immunization. They depend on the rest of us getting vaccinated so we stay above herd immunity.

speaking of my matchplay pinball rating, after the final bout of tuesday night pinball league, my rating went up by 9 points, and i'm now 16 points away from a C rating. just two more tournaments left to meet my goal of a 1425 or better rating by EOY.

The city has been twiddling its thumbs on what to do with the streateries for years now. Instead of these poorly implemented half measures they could’ve used that time to come up with a real plan to permanently extend sidewalks, create managed loading/drop off zones, and convert to sidewalk cafes.

it felt good to compete in a pinball tournament today and completely refrain from photographing any of my scores before, during, or after competing. I put enough pressure on myself, why add to it? looking forward to seeing what my matchplay rating looks like after today's event, and tomorrows event.
