Thanks to AI slop, I can't even be amused by a *funny animal video* without needing to analyze it. What could be an amusing event that ACTUALLY happened and filmed at the right time due to due could also be some bullshit slop some asshole made for the sole purpose of getting clicks.
Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Wait I just realized the irony of the Bo3 comparison. Because the main antagonist is a sentient AI and all he can do is run a simulation full of regurgitated memories of the people whose minds he's been inside (Bo3 has a weird and poorly told story, just trust me that this is what happens in it)
