Didn’t expect this from Scientific American but here we are. (Article from 2020 but everything still relevant including COVID precautions)

The "small government" and "states rights" people are awfully quiet this morning. Interesting.

We're in The Bad Place, folks. The existence of an overseas gulag to which you - yes, you personally - can be sent with no recourse marks the end of a whole period of American history. There's no going back after this. Even if these guys are defeated, the new order will have to look much different.
COLLINS: Can President Bukele weigh in on this? Do you plan to return Garcia?

BUKELE: How can I smuggle a terrorist into the United States? Of course I'm not going to do it. The question is preposterous

People are losing their jobs. Prices keep climbing. Measles continues to spread. Bird flu is raging. Veterans are getting fired. The stock market is a roller coaster. Our alliances are being shattered. Ukrainian civilians are getting bombed by Russia.

Donald Trump is golfing.

How has Trump improved the lives of working-class Americans?

Eggs are 15.2% more expensive. Gas at the pump is up 1.8%. 72 million Americans are at risk of losing health care.

Stocks are down and grocery prices are up. I'm not sure what these Republicans are applauding.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but thank you for whatever you're doing for your family and community to get through this right now. The way through this mess is a million tiny acts of resistance and love. I know you're doing them, and I appreciate you.

2024 was a largely unsuccessful year. I’m not sure if that’s the best word for it, but it’s the word I’m sticking with. My hope for 2025 is that the work I complete is meaningful. I want to add something to this world that others find valuable.

I’m amazed it took them this long. This will be incredibly popular. It also explains why they saved Animation Courtyard. 😂

I enjoyed this one. Elvis’s 1968 comeback special is probably one of the most important musical moments ever broadcast on television. If you’re looking for something informative to watch this weekend, I do recommend this documentary overall.

Galaxy’s Edge (on both coasts) is a recent project that people seem lukewarm on. What does Galaxy’s Edge need to feel like a more complete experience?
