My first and definitely last time working with the Los Angeles Times. Editing out the most urgent point of an OpEd in the minutes before sending to press while then also assigning a title and image that suggest an argument entirely opposite to the author’s clear intent is pretty shitty.

My proposed title and my opening and closing lines do not leave my stance on RFK Jr remotely ambiguous. He’s dangerously ignorant, egomaniacal, and effectively a mass murderer in waiting. He has no business being anywhere near HHS.

I prayed for incompetence, and yes, we are receiving it... We are also receiving it in our ass. Last time millions of Americans died unnecessarily, one of those was my own father. Who knows how many more will die. Already 80 people died due to Republican Budget Cuts and Federal Hiring Freeze.
Good news: Early signs are Trump White House is so grossly incompetent that much of what they try will fail.
