UPDATE: The Trump admin has expanded systems showing if a person applying for a passport renewal has EVER had a passport with a different gender marker. Trans people should avoid even routine passport renewals until there is more clarity about the updated policies.

Everyone should be aware of the line that has been crossed in the Trump trans military EO.
No longer is this about "evidence," "science" or "protecting kids."
Now, explicitly, black and white, it's about trans people being "liars," "dishonorable," "false."

These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.
