...Both defeat and success, but I've got a new BIOS ready for the neo geo.

The USB capture device (which may or may not work under Linux) arrives tomorrow, so I can capture some before footage hopefully and spend the weekend doing some mods

Just finished the exceedingly strange (and excellent) Earthlings by Sayaka Murata. I previously read Life Ceremonies and Convenience Store Woman, and this one was a step up the scale, also hits much harder than the others.

Of course I've also ordered the newest book by Murata, Vanishing World.

Reading More Days and the Morisaki Bookshop, the sequel to one of the most cosy books, and inspired by one of the characters descriptions of it also The Chieko Poems

Some credit though, they managed to publish the Roku app to be available in the UK this year, and it's significantly better then the Android TV and Sky Q apps for it
