Just finished the exceedingly strange (and excellent) Earthlings by Sayaka Murata. I previously read Life Ceremonies and Convenience Store Woman, and this one was a step up the scale, also hits much harder than the others.

Of course I've also ordered the newest book by Murata, Vanishing World.

Final part of the GX4000 3d printing for the day, printing a case for the C4CPC flash cart for it.

Doing some stuff with my beloved Amstrad GX4000 today. Step 1 print a cover for the 5v power socket so it's not possible to accidentally plug in the supplied 9v adapter and fry the whole darn thing.

The parcel gods were kind to me.....which led to 9.5 hours of building my new system (original case and GFX card, but everything else is new). I've not set up the lighting so this is the default state of all the lights. Tomorrow I'll install win 11 and get gaming
An outrageous gaming pc. The sides of the case are glass and inside you can see a mostly white build with a water-cooling setup, 6 visible fans, and a radiator along the top of the case. All the visible fans are surrounded by rainbow RGB lighting, the water block on the CPU is also illuminated, and so is the visible edge of the RAM.

5 boxes of Lian Li cooling fans and equipment. 1 Galahad Trinity II all in one water cooler, 1 Uni Fan TL 120 reverse blade starter pack which contains 1 controller and 3 fans, and 3 single packs of 1 Uni Fan TL reverse blade.

Ooh new Minidisc day! Wolfclub - Canyons. What a great album, and I adore listening to stuff on Minidisc, highly underrated format. New Retro Wave do a fantastic job of the physical media.

Also brings back my pleasure in repairing this tiny tiny minidisc player.

Went to the bigger nearby library today. Had a lovely time browsing and came home with two surprise books. Also picked up a new tea cosy, so I've got a lovely pot of tea and a quick read to finish off.

Using ITVX for the first time, I'm watching the Poirot episode of the novel I just read.

The episode (at just a few minutes in) is quite different than the book, that's fine though....what's strange is the borders on ITVX. Why such a large black border on the bottom, very strange
