What's funny about getting back into cape comics, as a manga reader, is going from a medium where even mediocre artists are conscious of page composition and panel layout for the sake of flow to capes where it doesn't feel like its sequential art as much as a bunch of movie posters stapled together

But I find it really funny that whenever western gamers declare a turn based rpg a "masterpiece" that "pushes the genre forward" its always because that RPG has the timed attack/defend mechanics from Paper Mario

I find the entire existence of the western "parody dating sim" to be extremely odd since the collective Western gamer sphere never really had access to any of the genres foundational texts.
