Nutrition/ public health.
I ramble about the emotional and cultural aspects of food. I'm on a baking and biking journey. www.evefromscratch.com
Women remain underrepresented in health research, and current budget cuts are worsening these disparities. When studies exclude half the population, how can we trust the conclusions? But go off on how Mexican Coke is going to fix everything.

Slow food is about slow life - a rejection of everything stealing our humanity.
Drawing frame by frame is enjoyable.
Cooking from scratch connects us to our food.
Make yourself enjoy the process. That's why we're alive.

The era of posting for likes is ending. The noise is exhausting, the manipulation tactics, the constant grab for attention. The attention economy has rewired our brains and shattered our focus. It's time for quality over quantity. Authentic voice over algorithmic performance. #beinghuman 😮‍💨

Does anyone else find the biohacking thing a little too wacky?? We've turned our bodies into optimization projects. I guess I just don’t understand the point of the quest for immortality I guess…

You can be a leader - for yourself first. Talk like a leader, act like a leader. Stop waiting for permission to trust your instincts. The world needs people who can think independently and make decisions from their own center, not from fear or conformity.

Did you know your DNA can store 215 petabytes of data in a single gram? Your body contains information systems that put our best technology to shame. These wellness bros are cashing out from our insecurities with their optimization tools. My dudes and ladies, your bodies' intelligence runs the show.

Eating disorders don't develop in a vacuum.
They emerge from layers of cultural messaging, family dynamics, and environmental pressures that teach us to distrust our bodies. Healing requires addressing the ecosystem that created the problem, not just individual symptoms.

While tech promises to enhance humanity, maybe it's time to get rooted in what makes us human in the first place.
Connection, intuition, presence, and nurturing the ability to feel and respond force us to slow down in an environment that pushes to turn any spare time into production.

Philosophies exist on spectrums, not as rigid doctrines. It's okay to question, evolve, and change your mind. The ego's need to identify with fixed positions is killing our ability to think clearly. Embrace the fluidity of growing wisdom.

Welcome to the age of discernment where self-knowledge and media literacy will matter more than just about anything. To fine tune our intuition we should try to turn off the noise.

The artificial dyes debate reveals our broken relationship with food. Instead of asking "Is this chemical safe?" ask "Why am I craving processed food?". Science's leaps forward have not always been solutions to traditional problems but reformulations to the wrong questions. #Anaximander

I could be wrong, but I’ve been thinking that the real rift in our country is political, but not in the way we think. The real wall dividing us is critical thinking vs. magical thinking and sycophantic AI is going to be the cement that makes that wall stronger.

The bad place AKA X is packed with ROI obsessed kooks. We've financialized everything, forgetting that the most valuable experiences can't be explained in corporate talk or measured in $$. Some investments pay dividends in quality of life which we have seem to forgotten about.

So many new trends feel performative, and clearly designed for clout. If a message feels off, there's usually a reason. I wish we moved away from these "radical" movements and would just let things be what they need to be.

Joy is the main ingredient in everything that matters. We're alive when we're connected to our food and able to share with our people. Everything else - the gadgets, the optimization, the performance metrics - is irrelevant.
Joy for the sake of joy 👅

$50 magnesium glycinate is not going to save you. Developing a good relationship with food is going to save you. Real nourishment and self-care doesn't require premium pricing or superfood marketing. It requires connection to simple, whole foods and the intention to prepare them with care.

$30 smoothies and $26 water are a capitalist nightmare - the opposite of what wellness should be. Wellness Influencers need to be stopped to ignored to oblivion.

AI isn't magically helping us create better content. It’s just spreading bad ideas and half-truths, faster. Everything feels faster, not better. Fake productivity is going to destroy everything that is still good in this world. #existentialsaturdays

There's a deep crisis of community in this country. The need to belong is so strong that people are shelling out their wallets and bending their beliefs to join “communities” and movements, even when leadership consistently fails to meet the moment.

You don't need a $400 smartwatch to tell you you're tired. You don't need an app to confirm anxiety is ruining your social life. The top 100 gadgets in the world don't have a fraction of the intelligence in your DNA yet some people are just ready to jump on the new bandwagon.
