For a long time scuttlebot "lite clients" were broken. I gave OpenAI's Codex 15 minutes to try and figure out how to fix them and here's their answer.

Here's a prototype! No ponzi required. Unless we are considering AI a ponzi. I wasn't in the mood to code today, so this is all GPT5/4. It uses anproto.js and apds.js under the hood. And I even convinced ChatGPT to learn hscrpt!

I tracked down and fixed the duplicate messages issue on Wiredove! It turns out somewhere the trailing equals on the anproto signatures were being stripped and since we hash the signatures this created two message records.
