It’s 10 years since the decomposed body of a man was found in Clocaenog forest. Police believe he was beaten about the head and dumped in the woods. Post mortems, DNA tests, dental checks and facial reconstruction have revealed much, but his name remains unknown

A man has been charged in connection with an incident at a Remembrance Sunday event in Llandudno when a person attended dressed in what appeared to be a Rear Admiral uniform and wearing a chest full of medals.

The identity of a body washed up on a Gower / Gŵyr beach in December 2023 remains a mystery, an inquest has heard. Searches of DNA and missing people databases have drawn a blank, and no identifying marks were found on his decomposing body.

Police have launched a murder investigation after the death of a 17-year-old girl in Cefn Fforest near Blackwood. A 38-year-old woman - thought to be her mam - is in hospital.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
