I had a job briefly some years (decades 😬) ago in a public sector body where I was responsible for collating the leave for a particular section of the workforce. By far the most common question I would get was ‘How many paid and unpaid sick days do I have left to take this year?’

Ditto Australia - The Dutch ‘discovered’ it in the early 1600s but decided it was so barren and waterless that no Europeans bothered to try and colonise it for 180 years… we could give the poor old moon another century before bothering it again…

And every time I see some AI output that's about a subject I'm conversant in, it is *at best* sloppy and incomplete. About the equivalent, interestingly enough, of an article in a tabloid newspaper written a non-specialist reporter.
