For anyone who still has to be on what used to be Twitter for work or other valid purposes, you can block that AI shit generator, I blocked it almost at the beginning and apart from current issues it means you never have to see any of its inane replies to brainless idiots.

Had 10 mins to spare before my last bus last night so sat on Clery’s window ledge & watched the illuminations on the GPO for a few minutes. It was lovely actually. And nobody robbed or murdered me. My favourite bit (not pictured, I wasn’t quick enough) was when it was covered in pictures of stamps!

Went to the National Athletics Championships in Santry this afternoon. It was fun. Would recommend. Only cost me 15 yoyos. You can still get tickets for tomorrow if you’ve nothing better to be doing. Saw a whole bunch of Olympians up close! And a field event I’d never even heard of!

Did you mean to imply South Korea was part of China that wasn’t in the southern mainland? The northern mainland? An eastern island? It reads bizarrely. It’s like saying there are floods in Portugal as rain hits southern Italy. It’s a complete non sequitur.

Saw @karenhao.bsky.social talking at the Dalkey Book Festival earlier today and she was the first person I’ve heard talking sense about AI. Look forward to buying and reading the book. (Had to run* to another talk after otherwise would have got a signed copy.)

Had a really lovely time yesterday painting fences in the sunshine with some colleagues but today I can only move my left arm everything else is banjaxed. On the plus side I’ve done all my squats and lunges and forward folds for the week…
