In 1964, Gene Roddenberry created the original Star Trek series, which premiered in 1966 and ran for three seasons. He was inducted into the Science Fiction Hall of Fame and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame.

The GMAF pilot program…is expanding to bring Palestinian visiting scientists, known as “GMAF fellows” to MIT. For each year of the pilot, MIT will select up to 5 Palestinian fellows, currently either in Palestine or recently displaced from Palestine.
