Anyway comics are great. I also enjoy graphic novels, but frankly, I'm a fan of long-form comics in a way that graphic novels are typically too restricted to deliver on.

Someone said "we don't distinguish between films for kids & for adults this way" but "graphic novel" is not an age category.
The better comparison is episodic vs serial television. We distinguish show types by how they structurally deliver a story. That is what graphic novels are.

It's especially sucked this last year as we've (my partner & I) been working on getting our own comics/art business going. There was so much I had planned, research I had from other artists' experiences...
Then Twitter was bought. Patreon nonsense... feels like we were kneecapped before we started.
