We’ve disinvested from science education, from science journalism, and it’s good, actually, for independent people trying to make the world better to be supported.

It was 2 AM.

We were defeated and demoralized.

We closed the game file and watched a YouTube play-through of the ending, instead.

We near the end of the game, literally moments away from the end, and the worst occurs.

The game crashes before we can finish it.

We load up the game again.

And all of our save files are lost.

She offers to play it herself. I cry tears of joy because that's such a kind offer.

We play the game, and she does, indeed, like it.

I'm still nervous because it's a game that obviously shows its age.

But it's working fine. So far.
