Anyone else having issues with Bluesky images not loading? It seems like the CDN (web-cdn.bsky.app) is not accessible when I'm on a IPv4-only network - IPv4 CDN servers won't connect. IPv6s work fine. /cc @pfrazee.com

Local football fans are organizing a makeshift Vilnius-Tallinn sleeper train by hiring one from LTG Link. These are Russian "kupe" cars with fold out beds currently used on a daytime service to Klaipėda.

They closed the busy Basanavičiaus str. for renovation and it's so peaceful. You can walk the cobblestones again. Wielka Pohulanka is back baby! (temporarily)

So it's official, by 2030:
- Rail Baltica will be mostly single track;
- Riga and Vilnius won't be connected by standard gauge;
- Kaunas Central will be connected by upgrading the existing single track;
- Panevėžys station will be outside the city in the middle of nowhere.

Damn, the Polish are cooking. Tripling the capacity between LT and PL. Assuming it's going to be a morning train from Vilnius, Berlin in one day becomes a possibility.

2024 was a new annual average temperature record once again here in Lithuania. 5yr average is now like Poland or Denmark at the beginning of the 2000s or like Germany in the 70s.
